Quick start: your first 15 minutes

Follow these steps in order. Each one links to a full guide if you want more detail.

1. Set up where things live (2 minutes)

1. Open Bins in the sidebar and add a bin for each shelf, tote, or drawer, for example A-01 on the garage shelf. More about bins.
2. Open Settings → Categories and add a few categories you sell in, like Electronics, Clothing, or Tools. More about categories.
3. Open Settings → Selling platforms and check the fee rates match your seller accounts. New accounts start with eBay (13.6% + $0.40), Facebook Marketplace, and Local / cash. More about fees.

2. Get your items in (5–10 minutes)

Pick whichever fits you. You can mix them.

• Sell on eBay? Go to eBay → Connect eBay. Your active listings and last 90 days of sales come in, and you can turn listings into items with one click. Connect eBay.
• Have a spreadsheet? Go to Items → Import and upload it. Import a spreadsheet.
• Starting fresh? Click Add item and fill in the name, what you paid, and the bin. Add an item.

3. Work your items

• Fixing something? Open it, click Move to In repair, and add parts as you buy them. Parts and repairs.
• Listed it? Click Move to Listed and enter the list price, the platform, and the listing link if you have it. Item statuses.
• Sold it? Click Record sale, check the price and platform, and add shipping. Hermes works out the fees. Record a sale.

4. Check your numbers

Open the Dashboard for this month's profit and what's in stock, and Reports for any date range. Tour the dashboard · Reports.
