How eBay syncing works
When Hermes checks eBay, and exactly what it fills in on your items.
When Hermes checks eBay
- When you open the eBay page, or click Sync now there.
- While you use Hermes: on any page, at most every 10 minutes, in the background so pages don't slow down.
- While you're away: about once an hour, so new sales are in Hermes before you sign in. On paid plans you can get an email when it finds a new sale.
Each check looks at your active listings and your orders from the last 90 days.

If something looks wrong
Your own edits win for fields eBay doesn't track. For eBay sales, the next sync puts eBay's numbers back (they're the source of truth). If a sale matched the wrong item, link the right one from the eBay page, and fix the wrong item in Edit. See Troubleshooting.
