Yes. The Free plan has every feature and lets you add 25 new items a month, with no card needed. Paid plans raise the limit and add a few emails. See Plans and limits.

Hermes works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. See Using Hermes on your phone.

If you sell on eBay, connect eBay and click Import all as items on the eBay page. If you keep a spreadsheet, import it. Otherwise add items one at a time with Add item.

Yes. The Hermes blog has reselling tips, profit know-how, and product news. Anyone can read it; sign in to like a post or comment. Comments are public and show your name from Settings, never your email. You can delete your own comments.

Not yet. Each account is for one person, so share the sign-in only with people you trust. Team accounts are a good Idea Lab suggestion.

No. They're optional, but they make eBay sales match automatically and items easier to find. See Using SKUs.

Open the item, click Record sale, pick the platform, and enter the price. Add the platform in Settings → Selling platforms first if it isn't there, with its fee rate so fees are estimated for you.

Split the sale price across the items (roughly by value) and record each one as sold. Or, if they were bought together too, keep them as one item.

Add each item with its share of the price. A common way: divide by how much each is likely to sell for. For a $40 lot where one item is worth half of the total, give it $20.

Open the item and click Move to Returned, then edit Refunded to buyer. From Returned you can move it back to Listed to sell again, or to Written off. eBay refunds and cancellations do this for you.

Click Edit, change the Status back (for example to Listed), clear the sale fields, and click Save changes. The change is recorded in the item's history.

Each item has one photo, enough to recognize it. Your listing photos stay on the marketplace.

The item, its parts, photo, and history are removed for good, and it doesn't free a slot in this month's limit. To keep the record, move it to Written off instead.

No. Hermes only reads your listings and orders. It can't create, edit, or end listings.

The last 90 days. For older sales, import a spreadsheet (eBay's Seller Hub can export your order history).

When you open the eBay page, every 10 minutes or so while you use Hermes, and about hourly while you're away. See How eBay syncing works.

Hermes couldn't tell which item it was: the listing had no custom label (SKU) matching one of your items, and the item wasn't linked to that listing. Link it to an item, create one, or ignore it. See Review eBay sales and listings.

Each Hermes account connects to one eBay account. To switch, disconnect and connect the other one.

Usually an item is missing its Price paid, a shipping label cost, or ad fees. Open the sale in Reports or Items and check its Profit card. See How profit is calculated.

For eBay sales brought in by Hermes, yes: they're eBay's own numbers. For other sales, fees are estimated from the platform's rate unless you type the exact amount.

No, but Download sales (CSV) in Reports gives your accountant every sale with its costs.

Not as separate expenses yet. You can add supplies spent on a specific item as a part.

Any item added to Hermes: by hand, imported, or created from eBay. Updates to existing items never count. See Plans and limits.

On the 1st of each month at midnight US Eastern time.

Usually yes: PayPal's checkout lets you pay with a debit or credit card in most countries.

Never. You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for, then move to Free with all your items, sales, and history intact.

PayPal doesn't refund the unused part of a month when you switch or cancel. If something went wrong, email zach@ztech-data.com.

On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, enter your email, and open the link we send you to choose a new password. See Reset a forgotten password.
