Group items by type for reports, like Electronics or Clothing.

  1. Go to Settings → Categories.
  2. Type a name under New category and click Add.
  3. To rename one, change its name and click Rename. To remove one, click Delete.

Categories power the By category table in Reports, which shows which kinds of items make you the most money.

  • Reports · Revenue, profit, and margin for any date range, broken down by source, platform, category, and bin.
  • Organize storage with bins · A bin is any place you store items: a shelf, tote, drawer, or rack.
